Cyclamen a concise guide is the latest publication from The Cyclamen Society. Cyclamens are familiar to most people and are popular garden plants. They are tuberous perennial plants in the family Primulaceae, with currently 24 species being recognised in the genus. They are native to the Mediterranean area, and with few exceptions they are dormant in the summer, although in suitable conditions and under cultivation some species will flower in summer.
