The plot is a sword and sorcery epic that explores an era “when the gods were physically on Earth and their chariots traversed the skies at will”. Synopsis: The saga follows Odan, the son of a celestial “god” and a mortal woman, as he struggles for his sky-borne inheritance. He is a “half-god” hero who grew up as a barbarian warrior. Series: It is the first in the “Odan the Half-God” trilogy, followed by Whetted Bronze (1978) and Crown of the Sword God (1980).
